The Christmas issue came up with Lowe's a couple of years ago and although I haven't been able to find what I consider reliable documentation for this 2007 event or a Lowe's press release with the AP, I did find a pdf of the purported 2007 catalog which also depicted of all things an upside-down Family Tree in this suspicious link.

It should also be noted that a keyword search for Christmas at the Lowe's website produces 174 matches.

Saw a Lowes ad on TV last night hawking "artificial trees".

Is that a compromise or a finger in the eye?
