If he makes $340k and his state and federal tax rate combined is ~40%, he pays ~$136,000 in taxes EVERY YEAR (before deductions). That's not a "fair share"? How much should he pay, per year, in your mind?

How many people do you think pay that $136,000, assuming that's a real number? Its likely rare to none. I had a big capital gains last year......my accountant was surprised I wanted to play it straight when determining the taxes on it. That's very rare in his world. The rich make out like bandits in this country and don't need a free ride.
