"The collective" seems to be a very real concept in many cultures. Apparently the most successful and productive members of the collective believe themselves to be morally obligated to subsidize the others in their collective, be it family, tribe, clan, etc.

Good on you if you are on the receiving end, rather hard if you are on the giving end.

The "one-self" itself is just a collective. Can you deny that?

If the most real thing every "one-self" believes is a "collective" of various cells, tissues, organs, and bacteria (a huge percentage of body weight), why cannot there be naturally agglomerating "collectives" that are built from several "one-selves"?

Bee colonies are naturally occuring "collectives" that don't seem to rely on capital markets (are they "libertarian" or "communist" or "capitalist" or "left wing" or "right wing"? ).
