Presidential candidates are finding illegal immigration to be the social security type 3rd rail of '08. Immigration law-enforcement Mayor Barletta of Hazleton was recently re-elected with 90% of the vote. Gov Spitzer faced being ostracized by NY Democrats unless he deep sixed his drivers licenses for illegals proposal, etc, etc. Citizens outrage has finally broken through loud & clear.
