Fair enough. I'm not overly familiar with any of the three involved, but understand there are many cross currents and rip tides on S.I. It looked like a "please, hit me with a stick" type of post to me and was not surprised with the responses it generated (didn't fault any of them either, I probably should add).

But what do I know?....S.I. is bookmarked as entertainment on my computer and I still end up on a thread like this....;>)

Then when a dissenting poster takes offense, s/he's summarily banned, and often snidely talked about on the thread after the banishment.
Not that a liberal would ever do that, of course.
