The Libertarian right wing has had control of Congress and the WH the previous six years. Whether or not Bush is right wing, he's certainly no libertarian, and neither are more than at most a handful of members of congress. Do nothing to help the poor or the working poor. A lot of times the best thing the government can do to help the working poor is to do less. Taxes and regulations have a net effect of reducing the income of the working poor and of making some who would otherwise be working poor become non-working poor.
