>>" And, no matter how politically expedient it is at that time, I'll never say that we "won." "<<

We had this thing "won" in 2003 when we were overflying 2/3rds of Iraq and Saddam was neutralized, the Kurds were safe and largely independent of Saddam, the UN Inspectors were back in finding nothing to substantiate Powell's UN WMD "intelligence?" briefing proving that our WMD "intelligence?" was wrong and probably being manufactured.

So what can possibly now be "won"?...after countless Iraqi and American lives lost and maimed, 4 million Iraqis now refugees, upwards to $1.6 Trillion just wasted and even worse borrowed, large parts of Iraq destroyed and American world stature and leadership now in such low regard, etc....

So what can be "won"? Oh yeah, Bush "won"...Saddam is dead and Bush got his family revenge.
