"Mission completed indeed. There are Amars all over Iraq. Both Shia and Sunni. Laying low for now. But the violence will erupt again before this story is done."

If you view the removal of saddam and a freeing of the shiaas and kurds as a good thing, then we can say mission completed. Will there be more violence? For sure and we shouldnt be in the middle of it, so if we can take this more or less favorable time to draw down forces, we will be doing ourselves a favor. As for iraq, time will tell. Yes we let the genie out of the bottle but there were some good things that happened as a result. Saddam in power today is no answer either.
