Of course you would! Almost everybody is a Luddite and they first say no to new things without thinking, conjuring up some imaginary problem. <Do I like the paid-for citizenship idea? As long as you have money, it is likeable... I see you still like to steer the pot... thinking about it more though, I am reminded that money is no indication of intelligence (raw) for one thing, and that with the amount of black (criminal) money around, most likely criminal elements would be the first to line up for the scheme. So, I'll vote it down. >

That's why things remain so bad for so long.

One can of course refuse a sale to any category of person one likes, such as murderers, fraudsters, convicted violent felons, AIDS carriers. Anyone who lies could have as a penalty their citizenship being canceled and their body parts used as spares, sold at auction to the highest bidder.

Of course you are also wrong that money is no indication of intelligence, either raw or cooked versions. Money is well-correlated with intelligence. It's one of the best correlations.

Which is not to say that somebody with money is necessarily intelligent, nor that somebody without it is necessarily not. People with money would understand the difference.

2 years passes quickly after over a decade in cyberspace. The first year lasted forever. Now internet time has slowed. It must be like the cosmos. Initial rapid expansion in a big bang, then a long, slow expansion until time seems to stop.

Why do you think one created Dubai? I answer: Black money heaven... NZ cannot compete with them. UK sold lots of citizenships to the Russians. Until the Russians got upset and sent a message to the Brits.

You can provide safe heaven for black money. But we will not accept epople to sue UK as a base to create trouible to us.

Message was that Russian poisoned by Polonium-210/
