I sure must have missed something in this story! I absolutely agree that you protect people, but I also have no problem with honesty about the disease and what it does to families. There is nothing shameful about any of this, until the media starts with their idiotic labels "Husband finds romance"
That's degrading and insulting and invasive. It trivializes a terrible illness.
But I get the feeling somehow the family is being blamed, when it may have been such an innocent comment.
