I just noticed SCHW's chart. It's at highs since 2001. The market doesn't sniff anything wrong. Maybe they are fine.

One thing in Fido's favor IS that they're privately held. As such, it's unlikely they'd take extreme chances with the firms own money (and they haven't really had a tendency to do so in the past). Publically owned firms had the unrelenting pressure to produce Earnings quarter after quarter, which led to the contagion that's now unfolding. BWTFDIK?
