Yes, a second consecutive up day on increasing volume is a good sign, with buyers now overtaking the sellers. It does seem we're past the selling climax.

No, I haven't looked at the debentures, as I've been thinking there's more upside with the stock since I don't think they will have to file b.k. (though it seems some think differently).

Yes, the issue with CCU is whether they have enough cash to last until they can get the cash flow high enough to cover their commitments (while being hindered by their hedging for the next year). From inquiring with a couple of geo types, it seems they should be able to make a good profit from Lisbon Valley, but it may take time.

I agree it does sound like a JV or some type of financing arrangement is coming. Makes me wonder if a potential JV or financing partner may have been shorting the stock to try to drive the price down to get a better deal worked out.

Their other properties do have considerable value, so it seems like someone would want to do some type of deal with them. With so much we don't know, many shareholders have bailed for a tax loss while new buyers like us are speculating on a turnaround.
