Oh........thanks. I've really been missing Words. And wanted to tell you that I spent 2 hours in JZ Rose yesterday. Unbelievable, and I'm sure I didn't see 1/3 of what she has in that store. We (I was with a friend) remarked on the Venetian Glass mirror behind the third floor check out counter and got a nice story about its first owner. It seems it had been commissioned by a Guanan President at the end of the 19th century. It took 3 years to deliver because of some blockade during some war or another. I asked the man who told us the story if he traveled around the world looking for antiques for the store, and he said, "no...........JZ has an enormous collection and lots of contacts that regularly shop for her." LOL WOW! Bought a few trinkets there and then had lunch at PF Changs. That was my first visit............yum.........I was impressed. So impressed, I think we'll go over Sunday evening around 5 for some dinner.
