Yes. Maybe reluctantly. If that collective happens to be another country.

We kill (or not kill) animals as they belong to the wrong collective. Sometimes based on what was their "character's role" in cartoons.

Dolphins caught and killed in fishing nets is a tragedy, while tuna can die the same tragic death without sympathy.
