The Masons I met over the years, were all wonderful....and certainly they did help us grow up in an upright way. Had to laugh when you said "taught me to do right".....That was a quote I heard sometimes growing up.....That and "right's right, and that's not right"....Actually, I didn't hear it too often, but one of my siblings did... She was very cute (still is) and was a brash little imp (still is that as well).... Your Dad sounds like he was a great guy....Maybe it is the Colorado air....My folks were from there as well....A GreatGrandfather was the second Sheriff in the pretty large county, and legend has it he didn't carry a gun....This is just a couple of years after the Sand Creek Massacre ....That had to be pretty gutsy, I've always thought....
