There is warn through spot to the right of the left knee. The cross threads are still there but the vertical (blue) are broken. At any rate, I go to the jeans section in Penneys. What do I find??? Brand new jeans with warn through spots. I wanted to find the store manager to see if they would trade the old pair I was wearing in for a new pair or two. I was the only person in the store who wasn't speaking Spanish on a cell phone. I am surprised that they let me walk out wearing my current (used jeans) - might be mistaken for new you know, and I didn't have the original receipt from a year ago with me as proof of purchase. The point in case I haven't made it already, i that our culture has become totally whacked out. Think of the cost to the manufacturer of "distressing" those new jeans. People pay good money for these new jeans - probably instead of paying their mortgages. As a country we are sooooooo screwed. I love the principles upon which the USA was founded, but I have to short it. I think it is a matter of survival.
