Vi, Roosevelt did not confiscate gold made prior to 1933, considering it rare. I have foreign francs, made during the 1800s, definitely non monetary to US gold and considered very rare. I'm as safe as I can get short of burying it in my yard, as one dude advocated. If the IRS wants it they know where it's at. (lol)
