It's a black eye for Canada for sure. We are on every friggen news channel around the world in places many of us have never even heard of. Our national police act like they are judge and jury and run around like storm troopers with no apparent accountability as they investigate themselves for their own countless cold blooded murders. Canadians are a pretty stupid and trusting lot to put up with this garbage. My thinking is the reason they get away with this is because too many people who come here don't speak English and therefore don't take offense when they should, they are happy to be here no matter what happens, but have no real clue about what's really going on with things. This disgusts the rest of us who know how things should really operate here and view these newcomers as an obstacle to maintaining the previous status quo which always worked fine. It's not a racism thing whatsoever, it's the principle that to defend a free society one must not be afraid to criticize and speak out for what's right. Too many don't, they follow those that came before them with timidity, softspokenness, apathy and so the politicians here know this and carry on in disregard and disdain for the public who they consider inferior to them somehow but deep down they know it's because they can get away with murder (literally) because not enough citizens here yell loudly enough and call them on their corruption. It's really sad that Canada is now run by criminals and gangs but I suppose this the way of the world today. Too many politicians of every stripe on are on the take from drug traffickers
