The question we have been pondering is not which techniques get results or whether the US is as bad as some other entity but whether the US should engage in torture or not. That question has been answered as a legal and moral issue and the answer is 'not'. As an adjunct question, we are concerned then about what torture is and what is not torture.

Your bashes and rants are way out of the loop for that discussion.
