Z, Krugman is repeating the same thing the Democrats are saying about Social Security. "Nah, there's no crisis coming in the future. That's just GOP fearmongering!" He gives no defense, no good facts to support the notion that SS is fiscally sound. All he does is blame the so-called hysteria on Republican ideology, then echos the public sentiment that they want what you want, a "safety net." Then Krugman goes on to criticize Obama (and Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, and those "doomsayers inside the Beltway") for calling it a "crisis." The conclusion of Krugman's hit piece is rich in partisanship: > We all wish that American politics weren’t so bitter and partisan.
