Sigh.

Obviously you have a comprehension problem.

The previous record tax revenues were for 2001. The national debt was under $6 trillion. The new record is in 2007. The national debt is over $9 trillion. So, given that the money wasn't eaten, there has been over $3 trillion pumped into the economy over the past 6 years to restore tax receipts to somewhat better than it was before the tax cut.

I dunno, I guess over $3 trillion doesn't buy what it used to...
