"spending" Right. The money wasn't eaten, it was spent. Which is called an "economic stimulus" when it isn't counterbalanced by taxes collected. So, after more than $3 trillion spent, we have finally got tax receipts above where they were before we started using the credit card. And the receipts are nowhere near enough to pay off the accumulated debt. Y'all are like the people who are screaming with joy because they just got $50 on a scratch off. Completely ignoring the fact they have bought 2 a week for the past 6 years and got nothing...
