I am...I am from Bari, the capital city of the region of Puglia

The guy who murdered a British woman with the help of his American girlfriend is from Bari. Did you hear about that crime? He's the son of a prominent doctor. She grew up near where I live. The murder took place in Perugia.

They have the best jazz club in Southern Europe. Old it is as well.

But crime of all kinds is almost the only way one can survive down there. Danish friend of mine, just 7 or 8 years ago, as a student he went to Bari and rented a room downtown. he can tell stories, man...some of the best time of his life he says.

He really enjoyed it and made buddies with the locals, learned a lot of Italian in the process as well.
