Yes, and I loved it too... The Jobies truly taught me how to be active in the community and so many other things at such an early age....Just think....How many other 12 year olds (when you can join) get to go to a VERY formal dinner, long formal and long white gloves, and dee the enormous tables filled with more silverware than you have ever seen in your life? Four or five deep on each side, and two pieces at the top of the plate....Good thing Mom warned me....and on top of that, we had 1/2 broiled chicken, peas and mashed potatoes....The chicken was a trick, and peas were something else again.

Our Bethel was the largest in the US (they said the world) and we had over 350 just in the choir alone....the folks got up every Easter Sunday, got everyone of us ready, and we were out of the house by 3:30, so we could sing at Sunrise. Then go to breakfast....Those were very special days, for sure!

Did you do those things too>
