The fact that many of these financial charts broke down out of many years of consolidation is very bearish long term for that sector. There will probably eventually be a trading range between what ever low we hit and the previous lows of the consolidations. It points towards a continuation of the rotation out of financial assets and into "things" like commodities, industrials, health care, tech, consumer goods, and maybe even real estate at some point (ie anything but financials)
