LOL!!

You ol' bastage! I picked against my home team because Minnesota has always been a tough team for us to beat AND because I know we're not as good as our record. That said, each week I think we're improving AS A TEAM and thats the key! I really believe we're coming together as a team and when that happens you start to win games against better clubs. I don't think we have the talent to beat Dallas, NE or Indy. We're young enough to lose to any team in the NFL but we're getting better each week. Favre WILL be back next year and if we just spice in a little veteran talent I think we'll have a chance. Maybe Favre isn't playing at the level of Brady or Manning (I don't think I've ever seen a QB play the way Brady has this year) but if he had the weapons that those two have right now I still believe that he's good enough to take a team the entire way. When I complained on draft day about not picking up Moss and not drafting Greg Olson I really believe I was right. Harrel (our first round pick) hasn't even dressed for a game. He could be the next Reggie White but as of now we don't know much more about him than we did on draft day. Greg Olson would have given us a good TE that could have served as Favre's outlet guy. Moss would have given us depth at WR AND he's truly one of the best WR's I've ever seen. I know attitude was an issue early in his career and he's done some stupid things (geez - I've never done any LOL). But his issues never came close to Pacman jones or some of the other debris we see out there today. Apparently Moss and Favre have had a good relationship and I think that would have resulted in Moss being the kind of player in GB that he has been in NE. We made a mistake in not acquiring those 2 players but in fairness to Ted Thompson - I think he's done a great job of drafting! McCarthy is also doing a great job of coaching AND convincing Favre that he doesn't have to play reckless ball. A lot of that is that our defense is keeping us in games. We no longer have to come back from 21 points down so Favre can play a less aggressive style of ball control QB'ing
