A dwindling population would be excellent. Lucky Germany, Italy and Japan; good management rather than luck. Russia's declining population due to earlier death is not so good. I don't fancy Zimbabwe-style demographic changes either.

On Friday, I tried to drive several kilometres across Auckland and there was traffic everywhere. Much of it was foreigners failing to drive well.

If all the foreigner-borns were gone, the traffic flow would be much better. NZ tradable citizenships would be worth more too [less dilution].
