I have a different view, but it's obvious you don't respect it.

Instead, you use my ethnicity to tell me how I should think and what I should be ashamed of.

If I told you that you should be a conservative because you're white and you're male, how would you react?


I would think you were telling how to run my life and wouldn't appreciate it. However, that's not quite what I was saying. If a friend came to me and said he was going to be a robber, I would try to dissuade him because I don't think it would be a good career choice and benefit him in the long run. In the same way, I don't think promoting Republican values are particularly beneficial to those people who are not white and upper class.
