Honored Queen (was like the President), and the Worthy Guardian was the older chaperone and boss..... In our group, we not only had to work and earn merits to go thorough the chairs or offices, but then had to be voted in....Everyone wanted to succeed, so we worked our little fingers to the bone (heheh) earning merits so we could 'be somebody'..... Actually we were all happy to be busy in a new way for most teenagers....We actually were trained to think about someone besides ourselves. Wonder of Wonders.... Todays kids would benefit mightly from such training...!
