So let's say the deficit is 1%, and I believe you here off the cuff, how big is the national debt in percentage of the GNP?

With the deficit approaching zero, the rise in same debt would also head same way.
In spite of the Bush tax cuts that is.

I dunno. They pretend to be the experts on economic matters, even talk down to others, yet when they actually make an actual statement it is shot through with errors and misconceptions.
