One thing I'm sure you and I will agree on is Al Gore doesn't know his ass from his elbow when it comes to the science of the earths climate. He is also possibly the most hypocritical clown in the entire environmentalism movement. How he can fly around on his private jets, drive his gas guzzling SUV and live in his mansion that uses more resources then 30 family homes and then look at me with a straight face saying I should go back to riding a bike is just simply incredible.

I'm not arguing at all. I'm trying to make a point. The point I'm trying to make is this. Al Gore represents a view that I don't agree with - he's all one sided. But many republicans are doing the same thing by saying there's no merit to the possibility of global warming. I don't accept either view! I think its an issue that we need to look into AND, if need be, make some changes. Like I said earlier - this issue has been politicized which leads to party minions (the people who buy anything their party of choice says just because its the party they vote for) taking a black & white stand on the issue. Nothing in life is black & white! Neither the democrats nor the republicans own the high ground unless a person is willing to buy their BS hook, line and sinker. I am a conservative - you know that. But I'm a free thinker too and I'm not going to allow either side the chance to sway my opinion just because I happen to support them. I may be wildly unpopular on this thread because I'm not willing to buy everything the Republicans say and thats ok. It would be a complete violation of everything I believe in if I were to sacrifice my belief structure or my willingness to think for myself.
