Dawg is one of the more savvy writers around, I've noticed. His website is creative and informative. Louis L'Amour, who made me love reading starting in the sixth grade, along with Edgar Rice Burroughs, who wrote my first novel, were shameless self promoters, and Dawg is right up there with the best of them (that's a sincere compliment, as self promotion for writers is vital). I have a lot to learn from Dawg, I think. First I have to write a book, where Dawg is at least two up on me already.
