<"the majority seem almost content, other than normal whining"

Believe it or not, the same applies here in NZ. Now that summer is here, everyone's going to the beach, sailing, fishing ...

Using the internet too. Zenbu has gone nuts with the arrival of summer. People are sitting on their boats at Opua using the internet like crazy.

Whining and moaning shouldn't be disparaged. It takes significant energy to whine, complain, protest and dispute. It's far easier to just be happy, obey Helengrad's latest edicts, hand over more money, drink another beer and discuss the failure of NZ's sports teams.

Whining and moaning isn't for everybody. But somebody has to do it. Some of We-the-Unselfish are willing to take it on while others loaf around.

New Zealand is a horrible place and fortunately, I am here to report it to foreigners and save them from making the mistake of coming here. Look what happened to Ahmed Zaoui for example = gaoled in solitary confinement and kept prisoner for years.
