I am well aware of the interest part of the budget but serving that actually is included in the total annual budget and thus included in the deficit figures.

Al, > The deficit is aided by SS surpluses. If you remove those, the deficit is larger than the WH would tell you.

We should remove them. It's absolutely amazing to see the SS "surplus" continuing to be counted toward the general budget.

So tell me which politician is in favor of doing just that.
