I read somewhere they have 50 trillion in derivatives value,
something like 30x their total assets.


More like 30,000 times their assets (book value around $37).

The majority of OTC derivatives are held between the large
banks. These are offsetting positions, so there should be
huge winners who can't collect and insolvent losers -g-
