I also think most people, even if they pride themselves as being chart technicians, knowingly or unknowingly try to relate what is going on with that end to the underlying fundamentals.

The fundamentals of the present global market place are (imo) difficult to understand. Not sure I understand either. AND I do not think the CB's of the world have a much better handle on this than we do. Some of Greenspan's post fed comments seem to bear this out.

However, if some of the more recent estimates as to how much money is going to get washed away as a result of the present undercurrents in motion are on the right track, the end result would seem to be highly deflationary, up to a certain point. Assuming the CB's try to pump the world out of this mess, they should at some point turn things brutally the other way. When and how much further down the road?
