Do they use Filberts in Swedish cookies? It seems at one time I had a Swedish cookie recipe and it called for filberts. Since I had no idea what a filbert was, I used almonds.

We get volunteer Filbert trees in our yard. They grow nice looking nuts. I wouldn't know if they taste good. The tree rats always get them before we do.
