Was the KGB successful in infiltrating agents into the government? I'd be shocked if they weren't. Heck, we know the Israelis were, else Pollard wouldn't be in the trouble he got into. No doubt all of our allies managed to do the same. And if our allies have spies, why not our enemies? We certainly have our spies.
