I saw a show called Future Weapons on Discovery channel yesterday. They had a segment on Dragon Skin. The body armor can take any small arms round there is from an AK-47 on down. They also demoed it next to a hand grenade with no penetration. I went to the companies web site and apparently the DOD has no interest in supplying this armor to troops and there is some is some type of law suit. I would say the DOD are murderers for not supplying this stuff to US troops.

Hey........wanted to let you know that I sent the link to a very dear Canadian friend that fought in the VN war as a sniper in the Marines. I thought he might already know about the organization, but he didn't, and wanted me to pass along his thanks for finding it. Unfortunately, he's suffering from non-hodgkins lymphoma now, but the VA is giving him superb care, and his prognosis is as good as can be expected.
