I think Gloop is concerned with the future. We3 all know Gore is an idiot and is completely wrong. That said, we WILL run out of oil and we need alternative sources of energy. It is time for the Republicans to get on that bandwagon. The Libs are already there (in some weird ridiculous fashion), so the Reps can be the sensible party.

We're screwed at this stage and the earthers have won. At some point we won't have the oil to drive and we won't have power and they will have their wish and we will be living back in the dark ages. Since the majority I've met could no more live off the land and care for themselves I'm thinking they ain't going to like what they have created.

Of course there is always the hope at some stage that sanity and science prevail and we get our energy and environmental policy out of the court room and out of the hands of un scientific morons like Al Gore. I'm not holding my breath however even though that would help lower CO2.

excellent post, oral!

i wouldn't go as far as to say the earthers have 'won'

wait till gasoline hits $5/gallon and home heating hits all time highs (ooops it just did)

when that happens i think voters will take algore and the greenies, throw them under the bus, back over them a few times just to make sure they're dead.

then we can move forward with nuclear and other sustainable energy sources

You've really nailed it with that post, OR. I think you are spot on and we, collectively, need to get serious about all of this. I am sick of the envirowhackos dictating our ultimate demise.
