I no longer ponder the charts of Metallica. I am prepared to be proven wrong, but for me fundamentally it is the best..... Nevertheless, the most impressive of the charts you displayed was the weekly comparison with SPX which is a proxy for the entire market.

In addition to stock I have a pile of the warrants. Why I have them I don't know,'cause I firmly intend to exercise them so I might as well be holding all common shares now (rather than risking the exercise money on some inferior speculation).

So we'll see in January whether this faith is justified. If it is, even what happens in April and May is of no consequence.

The one other stock I feel similarly bullish on is MFL. Production is imminent, but they have also promised to update their reserves and planned production levels before year end. I wait with bated breath.

Third on my list is WGI..... but others have fully described it !

I monitor closely the colours of the "change" column on this chart. Once again this morning the USD/CAD shows green. The increase in the CAD value of the USD continues, (making holding surplus cash in USD profitable to us as long as it lasts)

My interest stems from a holding of XSP which has served me well while the Canadian dollar has trended upward. It has provided S&P500 performance PLUS the performance of the Canadian dollar which has been "as good as gold".

Unfortunately, the converse is true; if the loonie starts falling, the currency element of XSP will detract from S&P500 performance. That's why I'm lightening.... tantamount to selling the loonie element.... It's interesting that a falling loonie actually enhances the CAD performance of a US stock such as SPX. (e.g. compare SPY:$CDW with SPY alone).

(Incidentally my observations leads me to believe that perceived performance of gold and the CAD etc is largely the result of the falling US currency. Only a fall in CAD will cause a CAD/GOLD disconnect).
