<they'll only stall at best imho, ultimately they'll drop and print in pace with the US Fed, maybe a little faster at times>

It's impossible to print in line with the US as the US has been printing potential dollars for decades that have been held in reserve and can start sloshing around (be printed) at any time now. The printing is done, the distribution is at hand. The Canadian govt can't and won't try to keep pace as it is becoming increasingly obvious that what is happening with the $US is loss of credibility. Hurt is coming.

As for trade, things will flip... the $US won't be the pricing currency... It will take time to figure that out, but ultimately local prices in the US will rise as fast as translated Canadian prices and a rallying Loonie won't matter. Take oil... US is a buyer... doesn't matter what the exchange rate is.
