euro growth is likely to dip much below 2%..pangs felt by france may spread to other place. germany which was teetering on the brink as late as 2004 will revert back ..there numbers are sliding now
eastern europe (baltics) etc are the riskiest economies in the world..
yes fiscally in a better situation than US..but always reactive and regressive, a slothful creature that europe is, it is unlikely to do well as things crash around it. In any case, many areas of euroland has huge real estate bubble and many banks have been active buyers of CDOs etc//
