Farmers coops are similar to a looser, employee owned corporation acting in the market. Just as there is minimal capitalist competition within a firm, there is little within the co-op. But both operate in a market economy with incentives and price signals provided by that economy. Fine. However, Stossel's premise is that people can not work together for a common goal and that's not true. In other words, he spewing out propaganda to promote his ideology.

But both operate in a market economy with incentives and price signals provided by that economy. Yeah. And the collective works better than the farmers working as individuals. Which was my point. Humans tend to organize in efficient system of self interest. Sometimes that is what you would call socialistic, sometimes it isn't.
