Dale; Rudy better have a plan to keep his composure in January while the press corps is hammering away on him losing the early contests You are right. I'm with Biden on Rudy. Worse candidate out there - the only thing he can come up with is a three word sentence;...."a noun, a verb and 9-11". There are too many good candidates this year on both sides. The eventual winner, IMHO, needs to show they have a solution. A vision is what I am looking for. steve

Regarding the surprise Huckabee surge in Iowa, this strikes me as the return of the M word for Romney. I don't see any surprise in it. Some states it will be a significant issue, others it won't, or will go the other way (Utah, Idaho, perhaps some other western states). The conservative religious vote needs a Huckabee, and now they have one who can show some prospects in the early states, so I expect he is more of a factor going forward. Fred was useless as it turns out. No real surprise there either.
