Methane Gas is a more powerful greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. In previous warming periods, there were huge releases of methane.

Don't you ever repeat oil company pollution lobby propaganda. It's far too serious now. We have a global crisis. I just talked to my friend in Holland. That entire countri is terrified now that they're going to be under water within a matter of years. So F you and your Exxon lying campaign just to protect GW Bush and the oil lobby. We have to get OFF oil and coal. The whole world does. It won't happen overnight but it can happen gradually and in an accerlated fashion if only the USA will take the lead and start running cars and power plants on clean renewable fuels. We can do it if we really try, but the GOP has to stop pimping for the polluters. We've seen where that leads us, into places like Iraq and into huge debts and recessions. yes the Bush recession is upon us. It's happening right now. And it's steep.
