Yes thanks for then reminder, Japan is a good example of what may come, in terms of rates. Though their primary concern was deflation, not inflation (This may come in the U.S. too IF the economy really goes negative).

But the reasons were similar. A stock market bubble but more importantly a RE bubble leaving behind lots of bad debt after it burst.

I do remember it, ...I looked at the 2% govt. bond yield in Japan and it eventually went lower, much lower.
