Here we could have US markets crashing like 1987 or 1930 if we get more calamities or exploding like Argentina a earlier this decades if hyperinflation develops.

This is a common misconception about Argentina's stock market. The crisis developed from 1999 to 2002, with inflation peaking in april 2002 (at 10% monthly rate!). If you look at the Argentina's MERVAL stock index chart, you will notice that the stock index had lost 75% of its value from its peak in late 97 to bottom in early 2002. The explosion really started in mid 2002, presaging the inflation control that started around the same time - the index has gone up 10X from the mid 2002 bottom but part of that explosion can be attributed to the commodity growth cycle.

Truer words have never been spoken.

The only certainty is the sun will rise in the cool morning's East, and set in the fiery West.

That, and water runs downhill, and payday is Friday. I hope, anyway. Or rather, my wife hopes, that is.

Hope all is well pour vous.
