"if Fitz had all this supposed documentation, why was the only charge perjury? Outing a NOC is a crime, after all. But then Fitz knew ten minutes into his investigation that it was Armitage who had leaked her name to Novak, so no use to pursue that route...." He had to go back to have his authority expanded, because under his original charter, he was unable to make a scapegoat of Libby. The leftwing media never covered the story honestly. Anyone who relies upon the leftwing media likely does not know the real story. Trying to inform them of the truth is likely to be a waste of time as the version spun by leftwingers is the only one that does not cause cognitive dissonance with their world view.

And back where we began, Armitage was at least apologetic about it. the soi-disant 'reality based community' God, you're full of crap. The 'reality based community' isn't the least bit self-styled. That particular tag was invented by some equally crapulous Bushie, who was apparently proud of not having to bother with reality, being a true believer in the reality-defying powers of the never-mistaken war president.
