Noel Sheppard (economist, business owner, etc) hopes that something having to do with science will turn out the way he thinks it will, a feeling he thinks is shared by those who adore "democracy and capitalism" In a nutshell, that is what the basher movement is all about: love of freedom and capitalism, and cluelessness on science. Could you shed some light on why loving freedom and capitalism requires one to be clueless on science?
